For the past ten years or so I have been under the care of another doctor who though was very sincere, caring and experienced was using a different method for removing my wax regularly. However due to the pandemic and non-availability of my regular doctor, I was very lucky to find Dr.Ajay Doiphode (thru google search) who immediately accommodated me and treated my wax problem through microscopic suction removal method. Visited Dr. Ajai Doiphode for my Vertigo problem. He took care of the same so very quickly and efficiently, which was like a magic. I was quite concerned about this Vertigo episode, but Dr. Ajay Doiphode cured it very quickly and it was a big relief for me. We were referred to Dr Ajay by another good doctor i.e. Dr Poonam Nautiyal. It was a Sunday and my husband had a severe ear ache and some skin eruptions. Even after being such a big doctor, he received my call on Sunday morning (as on Sundays most or almost any of the specialist are hardly available), heard out all my concerns patiently and gave me a workable solution i.e. directed to Nanavati hospital where too he is related. There his team attended my husband properly and discussed all our concerns in their medical terms with Dr Ajay. He guided them properly and we left the hospital with peace of mind. Even post treatment, Doctor was constantly available and guiding us with same enthusiasm as he would have done to any of his old patients and on his routine (non Sunday) working days. Dr Ajay’s clinic came highly recommended by my wife who had taken our son to him just recently for ear infection. I happened to have a fish bone stuck in my throat which made me very uncomfortable to the extent that I had to rush to Aahan clinic late afternoon. However in spite of it being late Dr Ajay who had left his clinic came back and attended to me patiently and he even had to go back to his car as he had packed of all his equipment. He came back and took out the fish bone in a couple of minutes and I was relieved. Thank you Dr Ajay for going out of your way and treating me in spite of it being after your clinic hours. Dr. Doiphode is an excellent doctor. His friendly demeanor puts you at ease at once and he patiently listens to you, after which he also patiently answers any query or doubts. His ability to correctly diagnose what was causing my chronic cold (enlarged turbinates) was spot on and the surgical procedure I underwent to remediate that has been a life changer. I would highly recommend him for any ENT related issues. His clinic Prime ENT is also very well equipped with it’s own OT and hospital beds incase you need an inpatient procedure.

My experience with Dr. Ajay Doiphode was a world away from previous experiences elsewhere. It was good to be treated with professionalism and care. He was very courteous, professional and more importantly patient and he made my visit as comfortable as they he could.

Dr. Ajay Doiphode is extremely professional, functional expert, warm and someone who can communicate with absolute clarity. He is methodical in his treatment and exhibits a lot of patience during examination of patients. People that have met me in real life may know that I had a nasal voice, suffer from sneezing and it often looks as if I have a chronic sinusitis. This started slowly some 10-12 years ago but I never really paid much attention to it. I used to suffer from cough, cold, congestion, blocked nose and headaches. slowly I lost my sense of smell to a point where I couldn’t get any smells at all. Since then my symptoms got slightly worse and I was unable to breath through one of my nostrils often causing me to breath through my mouth when asleep. Then about 4 years ago I went to a homeopathic doctor suggested by my sister who started me on medications and declared that I must be allergic to something. This continued for 2 years or so but there was no improvement as such..they say that for homeopathy to be effective,one has to believe in it wholeheartedly..I did that with blind faith for a good part of 2 years but when there was no marked improvement I decided to consult an ENT specialist, the specialist being Dr Ajay Doiphode. It took the doctor only a look to find the cause and after a scan I learned that I had nasal polyps and a deviated septum. Dr Ajay then in detail explained to me the procedure about the surgery that had to be done to correct the same. One thing about Dr Ajay is that he doesnt rush into things and lets the patient take his own time in making an informed decision. After discussing all possibilities I finally decided to go into surgery..The surgery itself is another process which each individual has to experience himself as for me, it was quite easy to trust Dr Ajay and I had absolutely no problems. Regular follow ups with the doctor is essential which only keeps you informed about the condition of your nasal passage and sinuses sometimes patients think that it’s not necessary to see your doctor again after the first few visits but let me tell you that visiting your doctor regularly is very essential these polyps are nasty and can easily come back!! It’s been more than 18 months now and I am completely free from the polyps my breathing is normal, I can smell again and no longer feel the congestion. I’ve started sleeping better all thanks to Dr Ajay. Though I was apprehensive initially about doing the surgery, I’m happy that I took that decision 18 months back. I strongly recommend Dr Ajay Doiphode for treatment of not only Nasal Polyps & Sinus Surgery but also for treatment of any Ear, Nose, Throat & Sinus diseases.
